bulletWhy stay in a villa rather than a hotel?

Staying in a hotel, especially a Disney hotel, can prove very expensive. At the end of a hectic day at the theme parks it is much nicer to return to your own villa and chill out with a cold drink by your own private pool.

bulletWhy book direct?

Booking direct enables you to choose exactly where you want to stay and cuts out the "middle man".

bulletWhat if problems arise with the villa?

The friendly professional management company (whose office is on site) is available 24/7 to deal with any  problems.

bulletWhat will I need to bring?

The villa is fully equipped for self catering, including all bed linen and towels. Hair dryer, iron, ironing board provided.

bulletWill I need pool heating?

It is advisable to have the pool heated from October to April. If you haven't booked this in advance it can be turned on by the management company, however the water may take up to 24hrs to warm up. Heating is £95 per week.

bulletDoes the villa have a telephone?

There is a telephone with free local calls. For other calls buy a phone card available from many shops including Walmart and the 7-11 store.

bulletAre pets allowed?

Sorry, no pets allowed in the villa.

bulletWill I need to hire a car?

You will need a car to get around in Florida as the public transport is limited. Driving in Florida is easier than in the U.K. as all hire cars are automatic and easy to drive. There are some unusual rules - you are allowed to turn right at a red light if there is no traffic and it is safe,- you must stop behind a school bus when children are disembarking. Make sure that you observe the speed limits or you risk an on the spot fine.

One tip I would recommend - before leaving the airport, it is advisable to obtain a few dollars in Quarters for the tolls.
